Ralph Delroy Getkin Oct 16, 1902 - Apr 1979 Catawissa, Pennsylvania

Ralph Delroy Getkin was a man who lived through some of the most tumultuous times in American history. Born on October 16, 1902, in Catawissa, Pennsylvania, Ralph was the son of Byron Curtis Getkin (1872-1941) and Anna Elizabeth Heacock (1876-1947). He grew up to become a family man, marrying Mercy A. Bucher (1902-1993) and having one son, Ralph Eugene Getkin (1922-1997) and two daughters, one named Rhea Jane Getkin (1923-2000). Ralph was a farmer and had his own farm that he tended to with his wife in Franklin, Columbia, Pennsylvania. Ralph lived a long life and passed away in April 1979, in his hometown, at the age of 76. He is laid to rest at the Elan Memorial Park Cemetery in Lime Ridge, Columbia County, Pennsylvania, United States of America.
