Clerk of the Court, Nobeltown, MA (now Hillsdale, Columbia Co, NY) in "History & Genealogy of the Old Families of Fairfield" states that Robert was Clerk of the Episcopal Church at NobleTown MA in 1771 and that his wife was Rebecca. Unknown burial location at this time. *Children Ichabod, Robert, Ephriam, Sarah, Joshua, Jonathan, John, and Ann.

Robert Meaker was possibly the son of Albert Meeker, who sailed from Plymouth England to Massachusetts Bay Colony aboard the "Christian" in 1635. He moved in 1654 to Quinnipiack which later became New Haven, CT. He married Susanna Tuberfield on 16 September 1651 at New Haven, New Haven Co., CT. Robert Meaker and Susanna Tuberfield removed to Fairfield, Fairfield Co., CT. Robert Meaker left a will on 12 November 1683 at Fairfield, Fairfield Co., CT; in which he named a daughter Mary, and two sons Daniel and John. He died on 10 March 1683/84 at Fairfield, Fairfield Co., CT.
