Wilma I. Laessle 88 of Bainbridge went to be with Lord Friday, January 7, 2022 from Westmoreland Place, Chillicothe. She was born June 20, 1933 in Ross County the daughter of the late Harry and Sarah Elizabeth (Lansing) Estep. On March 23, 1957 she married Glen R. Laessle, who survives. She is also survived by four children Paul (Brenda) Dunn, Tom Laessle, Becky James, and John Laessle; daughter-in-law Gail Laessle; seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and friends. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; a son Donald James Laessle and several siblings. Wilma graduated from Frankfort High School; she was a founding member of Twin Township EMS; she served as the clerk of Twin Township for 29 years; she was a retired bus driver for Pioneer Center and Paint Valley Local Schools. She also had owned an upholstery business. Throughout the years Wilma was a past member of Fruithill Church, Plug Run Church and Spargursville CCCU. Wilma enjoyed reading her bible, canning, cooking, gardening and attending her flowers. Funeral Services will be 1 pm Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge with Pastor lee Hamilton officiating. Wilma will be laid to rest in the Twin Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 am until the time of the service on Tuesday.
