    Hans Petersen, an old resident of this city passed away at his home on Miami Street in Lyons Sunday night at 12 o'clock. Death was due to heart failure of which the deceased had been a sufferer for some time. He was a retired farmer having moved to Lyons to pass his declining days. He was 69 years of age and leaves to mourn his loss one daughter, Mrs. John Ray, of this city. His wife proceeded him three years ago and was laid to rest at Sabula.     Died. _ June 5th, in this city, Mrs. Hans Petersen, aged 61 years. Besides her husband, one daughter, Mrs. John Roeh, and an adopted daughter [Louisa Schultz], survive her.
