Adelaide (Ewen) Bridges 1856 - 1937

Adelaide (Ewen) Bridges of Brunswick Australia was born in 1856 in Bwick to George Ewen and Esther (Barnes) Ewen. Adelaide Bridges had siblings George William Ewen, Emma Jane Ewen, Eliza Ewin James, and Alice Ewen. She married Thomas Bridges in 1885. They had children Daisy Adelaide Bridges and Leslie Ewen Bridges. She married Thomas Bridges, and they had children Norman Thomas Bridges, Albert George Bridges, Daisy Adelaide Bridges, and Leslie Ewen Bridges. Adelaide Bridges died at age 80 years old on May 20, 1937 in Ashburton, Victoria, and was buried at Burwood Cemetery Gilmour St, in Burwood, Whitehorse City County, VIC.

    The Age, Melbourne. 21st May 1937. BRIDGES. - On the 20th May, at the residence of her son-in-law, Mr. T. Baldwin, 30 Fakenham-road, Ashburton, Adelaide, the dearly loved wife of the late Thomas Bridges, and loving mother of Norman, Albert, Daisy ( Mrs. Baldwin ), and Leslie . Aged 81 years.
