George William Ewen 1852 - 1923

George William Ewen of Phillip Island Australia was born in 1852 to George Ewen and Esther (Barnes) Ewen. He had siblings Emma Jane Ewen, Eliza Ewin James, Alice Ewen, and Adelaide (Ewen) Bridges. He was in a relationship with Catherine Cowan (Hill) Ewen, and had children Arthur James Ewen, Elsie May (Ewen) Hutchinson, Herbert John Ewen, Jessie Maud (Ewen) Halls, Edith Mary Ewen, and Harold George Ewen. George Ewen died at age 70 years old on September 4, 1923 in Cowes, Phillip Island County, VIC, and was buried at Melbourne General Cemetery College Cres, in Parkville, City of Melbourne County.
