He had siblings John Millar Crowe, Cecelia Harriette Sarah Crowe, Frederick John Crowe, Harold George Crowe, Alfred William Crowe, and David Miller Crowe. He married Mary Anne (Membrey) Crowe in 1893, and had children Walter Harold Wilson Crowe, James Alfred Crowe, Albert Roy Crowe, and Albert Edward Crowe. Albert Crowe died at age 37 years old on January 4, 1899 in Ballarat, City of Ballarat County.
