He had siblings Harvey Cocks, Vera Cocks Michael, Dorothy Cocks, Edith Amy Wirth, and Francis Ernest Cocks. He married Mary Winifred Cecilia Slattery in 1909, and had children Frances Winifred Cocks, Edith Hazel Cocks, Dorothy Eileen Cocks, Edna Amy Cocks Dalton, and Ronald John Cocks. Albert Cocks died at age 84 years old on August 9, 1967 in Moonee Ponds, City of Moonee Valley County.
