She had siblings Albert Edgar Cocks, Harvey Cocks, Dorothy Cocks, Edith Amy Wirth, and Francis Ernest Cocks. She married Norman Stanley Michael, and had children Norma Michael Moore, Joan Michael Wingrave, and Thora Michael. Vera Michael died at age 85 years old on October 3, 1976 in Bendigo, Greater Bendigo City County, VIC.
