Francis Ernest Cocks of Bendigo Australia was born on October 4, 1878 in Woodstock, City of Whittlesea County, VIC to John Thomas Harvey Cocks and Jane Frances (White) Cocks. He had siblings Albert Edgar Cocks, Harvey Cocks, Vera Cocks Michael, Dorothy Cocks, and Edith Amy Wirth. He married Edith Amy Nicholas Cocks on July 20, 1907 at Free Christian Church in Fitzroy, Victoria, and had children Phyllis Amy Cocks, Robinson Cocks, Francis Nicholas Cocks, John Leversha Cocks, and Dulcie Edith Cocks. Francis Cocks died at age 74 years old on November 14, 1952 in West Footscray, City of Maribyrnong County, VIC.
