Albert Wylie Childress Sr c. 1876 - c. 1953

Albert Wylie Childress Sr was born on July 18, 1876 in Chulahoma, Marshall County, Mississippi United States to H. K. W. Childress and Martha Eliza Bell, and had siblings Emma Alexandria Childress, Ella Bell Childress, Martha Willie Childress, Walter Hamilton Childress Sr, Mecca Irene Childress, Arthur Miles Childress, and Thomas Warren Childress. He married Martha Irene Morley, and they had children Albert Wylie Childress Jr, Martha Bell Childress, James Warren Childress, and Carol Blanche Childress. He married Georgiana Freeman. Albert Childress died at age 77 years old on November 2, 1953 at US Army Hospital, Fort McPherson in Atlanta, Fulton County, GA, and was buried at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA.
