Alfred James Appleyard of Yarram, Wellington Shire County, VIC Australia was born on May 28, 1912 in Yarram to Walter George Appleyard and Florence Louise (Appleyard) Appleyard. He had siblings Amy Katherine Appleyard, Alma Edna Appleyard, Elsie Elizabeth Appleyard, Doris "Dorrie" Appleyard, John Madden Appleyard, Constance "Connie" Monica Appleyard, Molly Mavis Appleyard, and Walter Ernest Appleyard. He married Nancy Jean May in 1941, and had a child Geoffrey Raymond Appleyard. Alfred Appleyard died at age 53 years old on February 6, 1966 in Yarram.
