Alice Adeline Elderfield was born to George Elderfield (1862-1920) and Bridget Agnes Murray (1863-1951), and had ten siblings: James Francis (1886-1936), Rueben George (1888-1962), Ernest Austin (1892-1964), Gertrude Ella (1894-1985), Edith Lauretta (1896-1966), Lilian Theresa (1898-1972), Violet Victoria (1900-1976), Sarah Ann Hazel (1902-1974), Mabel Murray (1904-1986), and Clarice Lila Elderfield (1907-1976). She married James Joseph O'Meara (1885-1934) on August 7th 1919 in Kyneton Victoria Australia and they had three sons including Gerard George (1921-1991) and Ray O'Meara (1925-2005).
