She had siblings Alice Adeline Elderfield, Ernest Austin Elderfield, Sarah Ann Hazel Elderfield, Clarice Lila Elderfield, James Francis Elderfield, and Reuben George Elderfield. Mabel died at age 81 years old on October 12, 1986 in Kyneton.
