    Gloria Richardson Motley DANVILLE, Va. Gloria Richardson Motley, 76, died Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2003, at Duke Medical Center, Durham, N.C., after seven weeks in the hospital. Born Dec. 6, 1926, in Danville, she was a daughter of Henry Lee Richardson and Mary Shaw Richardson. She lived her entire life in Danville. She was a homemaker and a member of Moffett Memorial Baptist Church. She married William Lee Motley on April 14, 1949. He predeceased her March 30, 1997. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Lee Wall of Danville and Merle A. Wysor of Kernersville, N.C.; one brother, Berkley Richardson of Danville and two grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Eugene Richardson and a half brother, Stewart Richardson. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel with the Rev. Steve Carlton officiating. Interment will be in Highland Burial Park. The family will receive friends 7-8:30 p.m. Friday at Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel and at other times will be at the residence of her daughter, Mary Lee Wall, 724 Inman Road. The family suggests that memorials may be made to Moffett Memorial Baptist Church, 1026 North Main St., Danville, VA 24540. Wrenn-Yeatts Funeral Home, Westover, is in charge of arrangements.
