Andrew Jackson Higgerson Sr. was born on December 2, 1861 to Benjamin Higgerson and Permelia (Chewning) Higgerson, and had siblings John Edgar Higgerson, Jacquelina (Higgerson) Daley, William Buchanan Higgerson, and Walter Buchanan Higgerson. He was the father of Clara May (Higgerson) Williams and Walter Higgerson. Andrew Higgerson died at age 87 years old on October 1, 1949.
