She was in a relationship with Wade Hampton Yarbrough, and had children Paul Robert Yarbrough, Ruth Loyston Yarbrough, Ewell Gray Yarbrough, Mary Pauline Shropshire, and Mildred Amanda (Yarbrough) Carswell. Annetta Flynt died at age 84 years old on May 20, 1957.
