Amanda Cynthia Thomas was born on January 20, 1841. She was married to Romulus Briton Flynt in 1867, and they were together until Romulus' death on October 16, 1908. She had children Sallie Minerva Flynt, Sandy Romulus Flynt, Annetta Lavena Flynt, George William Flynt, Hoke Columbus Flynt, and Maude Flynt. Amanda Thomas died at age 79 years old on August 18, 1920.
