Introduction

Aretha was from Homer , LA. She married Artis “spelling may be incorrect” Scott and they had two sons from my my history. Education was a very important item in the Rhodes and Scott families I am well aware of. My aunt and uncle both had multiple degrees and taught at Homer High School. My aunt had an affinity for classical music and piano and enjoyed singing as well. Her sons are Wallace and James.
