Arthur enlisted into the US Military on August 23, 1943 in Buffalo New York and on February 28, 1947 he married Evelyn R Bender in Niagara Falls, New York, USA. They later separated and he then married Joan Treadwell Cassidy (1925-2019) in 1973 in Mexico. They then divorced April 27, 1990 in Broward, Florida, USA.
