Miss Hansford, Mr. Kornmann To Be Wed
The engagement of Miss Edwina Sue Hansford to Bernhardt Donald Kornmann Jr. of Dallas, Tex., is revealed by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Herman Edwin Hansford of Doyline. Mr. Kornmann is the son of B. D. Kornmann of Dallas, and Mrs. Willard Rand of Dubuque, Iowa. The wedding will be an event of Sunday, June 11, at 7 p.m. in St. Mark's Episcopal Church.
Miss Hansford is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alma Nelms of Rotan, Tex., and Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Hansford of Bloomburg, Tex. The bride-elect is a graduate of Doyline High School and Northeast Louisiana University where she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority and an honor student.
Kornmann attended East Texas University and North Texas State University and has served in the United States Air Force. He is descended from Mrs. Glenn S. White and the late Mr. White of North Tazuvell, Va., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Bruno Kornmann.
The couple will reside in New Orleans.
