Kindness
She is my grandmother. She was the most kind & caring person I’ve ever known. I spent a lot of time with her in my early years & I have so many memories with her. I remember staying the night with her & watching the breeze blow her curtains open above my head until I fell asleep. I remember her always in the kitchen cooking. I remember the smell of her soap. I remember going to the mercantile with her. I remember counting the carts with the “piggy” on them as the train would go by. I could see the train tracks from her kitchen window. She was so loving & kind. I never saw her mad. I still think about her and miss her so much everyday.
