Bolee Thomas Williams
Mrs. Bolee Thomas Williams, 79, of Chicago formerly of Greenwood, died of complications from a stroke Thursday, July 10, 1997, at Methodist Hospital in Chicago.
Mrs. Williams was an evangelist of the Church of God In Christ church and was a retired sales clerk for Gibson Department Store in Starkville. She was a member of Peter's Rock Church of God in Christ in Starkville.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 19, at Peter's Rock Church of God in Christ in Starkville with Superintendent J.L. Hutton officiating. Interment was Saint Paul Cemetery near Starkville.
Williams is survived by her husband, Joezell Williams of Akron, Ohio; two sons, Willie T. Williams of Chicago and Alvin G. Williams of Piscataway, New Jersey; four daughters, Miss Josie Williams, Miss Gloria Jean Williams and Mrs. Wilda Graham, all of Chicago, Mrs. Hilda Gillespie of Starkville; one sister, Mrs. Odessa Jenkins of Starkville, 32 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
Roberts & Sons Mortuary, Inc. of Eupora was in charge of arrangements.
