Charles A. Nelson
I've recovered an old photograph album from the late 1800's including faculty and students from Oberlin College which includes a photograph of Charles NELSON. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880's or 1890's with Charles likely in his 20's at the time it was taken. Most of the photographs, like this one was taken by the Pfeifer Studio from Columbus, OH who probably came to take all the photographs at the Oberlin campus. Based on limited research I was able to locate the following information regarding Charles:
Charles A. NELSON was b. 1860 and married Jennie ELMORE and they had a daughter, Lelia Faith NELSON GREENE (1896-1945). Charles died in 1949 and is buried in the Westwood Cemetery in Oberlin, OH.
I would like to get the photograph back to family and would appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of this family or know someone who might be.
