He had siblings Clement Frank Arthurs, Gertrude Arthurs Amiet, Elizabeth "Bessie" Arthurs, Frederick Augustus Arthurs, Ernest Edwin Arthurs, James Joseph Seymour Arthurs, and Kate Victoria (Arthurs) Mckenzie. He married Mary Jane Boxshall in 1899, and had children Dorothy Gerte Arthurs and Christina Jane Milroy Arthurs. Charles Arthurs died at age 64 years old on January 22, 1932 in QLD.
