He had siblings Charles Edwin Arthurs, Gertrude Arthurs Amiet, Elizabeth "Bessie" Arthurs, Frederick Augustus Arthurs, Ernest Edwin Arthurs, James Joseph Seymour Arthurs, and Kate Victoria (Arthurs) Mckenzie. He married May Mckenzie in 1900, and had a child Violet Grace Arthurs. Clement Arthurs died at age 88 years old on July 3, 1957.

Two of the Earp brothers and Doc Holliday were wounded.
