She had children Stephanie Elaine Markham and Patricia Ann Markham. Cynthia Sneve died at age 58 years old on April 25, 2010 at At her home 400 Gupster road, in Sequim, Clallam County, and was buried on April 27, 2010 at Cremated 80 Spencer road - 20, in Sequim.

    Cynthia Ann (Smith) (Markham) Sneve was born 1952 in Aberdden Washington to James Robert and his wife Caroline Ruth (McSorley) Smith. She was the 3rd child but the eldest daughter she had eight siblings. She graduated at Sequim high school in 1970, married Steven Gerald Markham in November 1970 and her her first child (me) Stephanie then two more children. Cyndi and Steve divorced in early 1975 and she married Eddie Erik Sneve. And he adopted her 3 children, and they proceeded to give those children a truly blessed childhood where us children never doubted our parents loved us unconditionally and always no matter what had our backs.

  • Professional Career

    Cyndi spent her life taking care of handicaped people and children. She was an incredible foster parent to children who were the most difficult to place. If there was a child who needed someone to stick up for them she was alwaays the first to arrive. Cyndi was my mother, she fought all the way to the nation's capitol to change the laws about children getting (hacks) corporal punishment because the principal spanked me with a board. My brother had learning disabilies and my mother went back to Washington DC to write laws for the learning disabled. She was a small woman of physical stature but there was never anything or anyone that could back my Mom down when she was protecting her kids. She was told frequently that her reputation proceeds her.
