Dale Davis 1939 - 1976

Dale Davis was born on July 26, 1939 in Oakesdale, Whitman County, Washington United States to Dorsey Austin Davis and Rosetta Maxine (Wiloughby) Davis. He was in a relationship with Betty Lou (Simmons) Davis and they later separated. He had children Vincent Austin Davis, Clayton Monroe Davis, and Wade Byron Davis. Dale Davis died at age 36 years old in April 1976.

    Dale Byron Davis was born to Rosetta Maxine Willoughby and Dorsey Davis on July 26, 1939, He had two sisters, Dixie Dee and Mary Maxine. He married Betty Lou Simmons and had three sons, Vincent Austin, Clayton Monroe, and Wade Byron. He was a crop duster airplane pilot in Oaksdale, WA , he died in a crash in April 1976 and is buried at Farmington WA.

Poland expected help from France and the United Kingdom, since they had a pact with both. But no help came. By October 6th, the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany held full control of the previously Polish lands. Eventually, the invasion of Poland lead to World War II.

In 1942, by the time he was just 3 years old, from January 7th through April 9th, the Battle of Bataan was fought in the Philippines. At the end of the battle, the U.S. and Filipino forces surrendered and a three-year occupation of the Philippines by Japan began. Between 60,000 and 80,000 American and Filipino soldiers surrendered and were marched around 60 to 69 miles - most were beaten, abused, or killed. Named the Bataan Death March, it was later declared to be a war crime.
