Daniel Anthony Bundy Jr. 1936 - 2020

Daniel Anthony Bundy Jr. was born on April 11, 1936 in Saint Marys, Elk County, Pennsylvania United States to Daniel Anthony Bundy Sr. and Ruth Olet Bundy, and had siblings Annabelle Marie Young, Loretta Alberta Morris, Betty Jo Anderson, and Thelma Irene Huckabone. He married Diane Marie Bundy in 1960 in Ridgway, Elk County, and they were married until Diane's death on August 15, 2019 in Brandy Camp. He had children Gloria Louise Bundy, Daniel Anthony Bundy III, David Vincent Bundy, Donald Eugene Bundy, and Denise Renee Buhler. Daniel Bundy died at age 84 years old on December 26, 2020 in Ridgway, Elk County, and was buried on January 2, 2021 in Kersey.

    Daniel A. Bundy Jr. age 84 of Brandy Camp Circle Ridgway,PA;died December 26,2020 at his residence. Born on April 11,1936 in St. Mary's,PA; he was the son of the late Daniel A. and Ruth Vibbet Bundy Sr. He was married to Diane M. Shutika and she preceded him in death on August 15,2019. Retired,Daniel had been employed as a Polisher at Motion Control in St. Mary's. He served in the U.S. Army at the end of the Korean War as a Peace Time Soldier. Daniel was a Methodist by faith,but he enjoyed attending St. Boniface Church in Kersey with his family. He enjoyed hunting,fishing,and being in the outdoors. He also enjoyed working around his home and helping family with any type of household problems that might crop up. Daniel was an excellent handyman. He is survived by two daughters: Gloria Bundy of Brandy Camp; Denise (Greg Ewing) Buhler of Mt. Jewett,PA; two sons: Dave (Darla) Bundy of Ridgway,PA; Daniel Bundy III of Kersey,PA;two sisters: Loretta Morris and Betty Anderson both of Elbon,PA; 10 grandchildren: David,Adam,Shawn,Michelle,Sonia,Olivia,Paul,Josh,Zack and Jordan as well as three great-grandchildren: Meadow,Maverick and Kenny. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and his wife he is also preceded in death by a son Donald Bundy and two sisters Annabelle Young and Thelma Huckabone. There will be no public visitation. A private Funeral Service will be held with Fr. Ross Miceli officiating. Burial will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery in Kersey. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of donors choice. The Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway is handling the arrangements.
