David Alexander Littlejohn of Brunswick, City of Merri-bek County, VIC Australia was born in 1890 in Brunswick to Elizabeth Docwra Littlejohn and John Littlejohn. He had siblings Florence Lilian Littlejohn, Joseph George Littlejohn, Frederick John Littlejohn, Jessie Louisa Littlejohn, William Alfred Littlejohn, Mary Elizabeth Littlejohn, and Arthur James Littlejohn. He married Elizabeth May Franklin in 1912, and had children Maria Jane Littlejohn and Lilian Carol Littlejohn. David Littlejohn died at age 80 years old in 1970 in Brunswick.
