David Ian Sutherland was born in 1925 to Julia Lilian (Clancy) Sutherland and James Sutherland, and had siblings Kenneth Sutherland, Malcolm Sutherland, and Jim Sutherland. David Sutherland married Pamela (Currie) Sutherland, and died at age 54 years old on October 15, 1980.
