  • Introduction

    The Argus, Melbourne. 5 March 1868. INQUEST. Mr. Candler held an inquest at the Yarra Bend Lunatic Asylum, yesterday, on the body of an inmate named Edward Twyford, aged thirty-seven years. Deceased was admitted into the asylum on the 18th of February, suffering from shivering fits. He was removed to the hospital where congestion of the brain set in, and continued until his death, on the 2nd inst. A verdict of death from disease of the brain was returned.
