He was in a relationship with Jean Twyford ( Brown, and had children Harrie Raymond Twyford, Ruby Irene Twyford, Frank Leslie Twyford, John"Jack" Twyford, and Hazel Twyford. John Twyford died at age 58 years old on March 1, 1926 in Somerville, Mornington Peninsula Shire County.
