Miracle Photo
Miracle Photo
Reverend Clara Smith annointing Mrs. Ella Watson, a government charwoman (janitor). Is this a double exposure or is there also a pastor annointing another woman?

This was at the "flower bowl demonstration," a service held once a year at the St. Martin's Spiritual Church. Reverend Vondell Gassaway was the pastor - I just don't understand the composition of this photo. It wasn't meant to be artistic, just to record an event.

I really wish we knew what is going on with the 'shadow' effect in this image. It's definitely an awesome effect especially considering this photo is of an annointing ceremony.
What amazes me is that when I first looked at the picture, the female pastor's face was clearly pictured; the second time, her face was gone, replaced by the male pastor's in a more bowed position
