She had siblings David Ferrier, Winifred Annie Ferrier, Albert Stanley Gordon Ferrier, Joseph Edward Ferrier, William John Ferrier, Stanley Joseph Ferrier, Alice Meta May (Ferrier) Byrne, Harold James Ferrier, Allan Vidmore Ferrier, Madge Eveline Ferrier, and Stephen Alfred Ferrier. She married Thomas Martin Dunn in 1906, and had a child Stanley Ferrier. Ellen Dunn died at age 30 years old on June 25, 1912 in Warrnambool.
