Eva Emily (Strehz) Bland was born in 1863 in Auckland New Zealand to Theodore Strehz. She married Charles Edward Bland, and they were married until death separated them. She had children Frederick Edward Bland and Catherine Phyllis (Bland) Sainty. Eva Bland died at age 82 years old on May 6, 1946 in Strathfield, NSW Australia, and was buried at Randwick Cemetery, Malabar Rd, in South Coogee, Randwick City Council County.
