He was my (step) uncle. He used to bring out his mules to the farm/ranch I grew up on (him too back in the day) He worked for a mine in Soda Springs Idaho so I didnt see him much. He would hook the mules to a sleigh or cart. One time he handed me a sack full of aluminum cans while I was riding one of his mules and told me to shake it up so they would get used to the noise and not be so skiddish. Never did that again. That mule bucked me off and trampled me something fierce. Being I "tom-boy", I had to wait to cry until I got into the house. He just laughed cuz he didnt think I would actuallly take those noisy cans. Needless to say, mom and grandma were not happy with him.
