People we remember
Biographies are where we share about family & friends to connect with others who remember them.

F Stover:
Karen always strove to do good and liked to understand things on a very deep level. She was practical yet unconventional. Karen was a dedicated mother of 3 daughters, was a trained midwife, and had many interests including organic gardening and alternative health. Given everything, it seems she should have lived much longer. I will always miss her. F
Angelic Cole:
Beloved GrandDa - Most of my favorite childhood memories involve either my Grandmother Zelma or my GrandDa R.E. Patterson .... They were more than grandparents to me, they were my best friends. My go-to place for stories, adventure, security, love, hugs, sneakiness... just about anything one little girl could drum up they were there. Especially for me, my GrandDa! In his eyes and he made it very clear everyone knew too, I was his precious Lil' Angel... "My Angel".. not just Angel, not "Where is Angel off to today?", no, it would always be "Where is My Angel off to today? What kind of adventure are you up to now, lil' one?" .....I had a great imagination thanks to my grandparents and if I couldn't think of anything, guaranteed that the old man had a few ornery ideas up his sleeve, for sure. The thing about him however; is that he was quite particular. What I mean is, He had 3 "step children" whom I have heard that he loved very much as if they were his own. Then he and my grandmother late in life, had one child... a daughter. I'll admit, i often wish they had at least tried for another in hopes of a boy. The Patterson line would still be going. Unfortunately, Neither Ralph or his brother Earl had any sons. Earl was entirely childless. I would really like to know why they chose this. I also would not be surprised to find out that the birth of my mother was an oopsie, so to speak. Well this is my first entry, I'll tell more stories and share more random thoughts as I go along. If you know anyone at all along my family branches, please feel free to share a story or whatever you have. Blessings to ya!
Carolyn Davidson:
Patricia (PattiPooh) was my sweet baby sister! - I held baby Patti when she was born. I was 13 years old at the time. About eighteen months earlier my younger sister, Becky, had been born. The two of them were best buddies. I would sit on the floor and let the girls divide my hair in half and they each got to put in curlers, bows and barrettes. I looked so silly, but they were entertained while mom fixed dinner. Lol
Jo-Ann Wisniewski:
Memories - My grandmother 🥰:). German food…still the best I’ve ever had! Gram’s desserts… especially her raspberry turnovers and cinnamon/sugar swirls with leftover dough…chocolate chip cookies and rum balls at Christmas! Playing cards at night… and the song while getting our tea and treats ready…” I love coffee, I love tea… I love Jo-Ann and she loves me!”

Richard Murphy:
His Father was also a Dentist. His mother was from PA. Lived in Quincy his entire life.
Was an Officer in the USN, presumably, around WWII. Probably enlisted at Squantum Naval Air Station.
Lawrence held a civilian FAA Pilots License with a sea plane rating.
He had a private dock behind his home in Squantum that he would tie up his Piper Cub on "floats" to the dock.
He had consulted with NASA as a Dentist in the early days of space flight. Nasa wanted to pull all the teeth of the astronauts so that dental issues could not be a distraction on space flights. Dr. Shalit advocated for strong dental hygiene and dental preventive treatment, rather than dental extractions. His arguments won over (to the thanks no doubt of the astronauts.)
Cynthia Raysor:
Felicia is my mother - I am Cynthia Raysor the eldest daughter of Felicia Dionne Mobley Raysor. There are seven of us. Three boys and four girls. My mother’s life was cut short at 32 yrs old due to domestic gun violence. I was there went it occurred at our home. I was only 10 yrs old st the time. My mother was a very hard worker. She had just finished college and she was working three jobs to provide for us. I could go on and on, but it will take a whole book to write out her life story.
Rita Campbell:
Adelina was my mother - Her preferred name, and stage name while she worked much of her life as a dancer, was Lili. She didn’t like her given name and liked her middle name even less. She was very quiet, modest, and elegant.
She loved to read, garden, discuss books with my father, and she wanted the best in the world for her children. She had a pet canary. When she was a child she lived on a ranch in Arizona with an aunt and had a pet rooster.
She was trained in classical ballet, and was a professional dance team with my God father through the Great Depression era. They called themselves Tavo and Lili. They worked a lot for community events and parties for the very rich, and also regularly as extras for MGM studios. She was a stand-in for Delores del Rio the famous crossover Mexican actress.
Mom had extremely high standards. She always had excellent posture and was very graceful and charming. She was a dancer and my dad was a musician, and so they met in the entertainment field.
He decided to court her, and they got married and she gave birth to my brother, Louis Anthony. My dad went to serve in WWII, did his duty to country, was honorably discharged and after he returned, I came along. She had a bad heart and later in life, dad nursed her with great care and devotion until she passed. He died nine years after her.
Robbreiona Bell:
Rosemary is My Grandmother - Rose Marry, was a strong and loving woman who left behind a legacy through her 11 children, including your mother, Prina, the oldest. Though I lost her at a young age and don’t have many memories, her impact lives on through your family. It’s been a bittersweet moment to come across her picture online, a glimpse into the past that connects me to her in a new way. I’m looking for more photos or information about her and her children or even connecting with extended family members who may have old pictures or stories to share. She may be gone, but her love and presence remain in the lives she touched

Danielle Adair:
Always in my heart - John Pratt was my Uncle, who I felt closer to than my own parents. He was a great guy, who always made me laugh and smile. I got my silly side from him, besides my Aunt on my mother's side. lol
My Uncle John was there for me, more than any other member of the family, growing up! I used to sit on his lap when I was a little girl. I remember playing basketball with him, my dad and other Uncle Ray.
I remember my Uncle John and I would laugh and be silly & even drum on the table back and forth to the awesome music he'd jam to. And I would make him laugh when dancing with his cane. That some was fun times, and I miss him very much! He also would take me in so I had somewhere to go, whenever I was thrown out, both as a minor & adult!
My Uncle John will ALWAYS be in my heart, and a part of my life. I love him very much, and may he rest in peace. I'll see you again someday Uncle John, and when I do, we can dance and be silly together in Heaven.

Eugenie Nable:
Mrgaret Miriam Bengel-Reagan Nable's Unique Voice - Margaret possessed a voice that lilted, crackled, and sometimes made a laughing rasp. Her son Jesse inherited that genetic trait, and his son Mark also has that wonderful and memorable voice. Jesse's sons Greg and Timothy may have a similar timbre and their children may have inherited that unique voice from their paternal great grandmother.
