Frederick August Mihan of Box Hill Australia was born in November 1824 in Leipzig, SN Germany. He married Johanna Carol (Menzel) Mihan on August 15, 1883 in Victoria Australia. They had a child Anna Elizabeth Lehmann. He also married Paulina Florentine Scholtz Mihan, and they had children Agnes Christine Mihan, Frederick William Miehen, William Frederick Mihan, Louisa (Mihan) Gerlach, Charles Albert Mihan, Mina Hermina Mihan, and Emil Rudolph Mihan. Frederick Mihan died at age 76 years old on September 11, 1901 in Burwood, VIC Australia.
