She married Darrol Sterling Lowery on March 11, 1937 in Osceola, Mississippi County and they later divorced. She has children Darrol Gene Lowery, Patricia Lowery Carouso, and Jimmy Wayne Lowery. Gladys Lowery died in Mechanicsburg, PA.
