Green Payne Jr. 1879 - 1955

Green Payne Jr. of 2314 Chouteau Ave, in St. Louis, Missouri United States was born on December 20, 1879 in Monticello, AR to Green Payne Sr. and Nancy (Matthews) Payne. Green Payne had siblings Wheeler Payne, William Henry Payne Sr., Rosa Ann (Payne) Smith, Sink Field Payne, Easter Payne, Hattie (Payne) James, Isabella (Payne) Polk, and Robert Payne. He married Ollie (Johnson) Payne on March 14, 1900 in Drew County. He would also marry Pearl (Bell) Payne on January 10, 1905 in Drew County. He and Effie (Brinkley) Payne married on January 13, 1918 in Drew County. They had children Malissia (Payne) Phillips, Selma Lee (Payne) Cockrell, and Ernestine Payne. Green's partner was Leatha (Williams) Wallace, and they had a child Nahoma T Wallace Sr.. Green Payne died at age 75 years old on March 3, 1955 in St. Louis, MO, and was buried on March 7, 1955 at Oakdale Cemetery 3900 Mt Olive Rd, in St. Louis, St. Louis County.
