William Payne has children Archie Payne, Rebecca (Payne) Norris, William Henry Payne Jr., Nancy (Payne) Handy, Reuben Payne, Booker Payne, Eddie Payne, John Henry Payne, Lafayette Payne, and Melvin (Payne) Baxter.
