Henry Edward Searle was born in 1854 to Edward Searle and Julia Lydia Rakestraw ( Searle ( Hunter, and had siblings David Hunter Searle, Annie Louise Rossiter ( Searle, and Helen Searle. He married Emily Ruth Searle ( Grant, and had children Arthur Henry Searle, Annie Winifred Searle, Emily Ivy Claydon ( Searle, Gilbert "Bert" Edward Searle, and Olive Bertha Secretan ( Searle. Henry Searle died at age 66 years old on March 25, 1921.

SEARLE.- On the 25th March ( suddenly), Henry Edward, of 35 Palermo-street, South Yarra, beloved husband of Emily Ruth, and loving father of Arthur ( N.S.W.), Winnie, Ivy ( Mrs. Claydon), Bert, Olive ( Mrs. Secretan), and brother of David Searle and Annie ( Mrs. Rossiter, Sydney ), aged 67 years. Our loved one at rest.

The act created both the Kansas Territory and the Nebraska Territory, which would determine for themselves if they would be pro-slavery or free. Both territories allowed slavery but it caused contention within the territories.

In 1891, he was 37 years old when from March 9th through the 12th, a blizzard hit the south and west of England. Called the Great Blizzard of 1891, it led to snow drifts of up to 15 feet and killed 200 people and 6,000 animals. Fourteen ships sank.
