    MARRIAGE FYNN-CONLAN.—On 24th June, at St. Francis', Melbourne, by the Rev. Father O'Neill, of Yea, James Fynn, solicitor, to Annie Mary, daughter of Mrs. Conlan, of Mansfield, and the late J. W. F. Conlan, of Summerhill, Co. Meath, Ireland. No Cards. (Yea Chronicle (Yea, Vic. : 1891 - 1920) Thursday 6 August 1896 p.2) PERSONAL Well-Known Solicitor Dies Mr James Fynn, one of the best known solicitors in the North-eastern district, died at Yea yesterday after a short Illness. He had practised his profession at Yea and adjoining districts for about 27 years, and was accustomed to visit Melbourne two or three times a week to attend personally to conveyancing and other legal business. He left a widow, a son and a daughter. The son, Mr A. Fynn, a former senior scholar of Xavier College, Kew, is studying for the Roman Catholic priesthood at the Jesuits' Novitiate in Sydney. Mr James Fynn was a brother of Mr. W. Fynn, secretary of Yea Shire; and brother-in-law of Mr P. P. Conlon, accountant of the Legislative Assembly and secretary to the Select Committee on the Drift of Population. (The Herald (Melbourne, Vic. : 1861 - 1954) Tuesday 19 November 1918 p.1)
