Janet (Henderson) Young was born in 1804 in Scotland United Kingdom to John Henderson. She married David Summers in 1837 at St Cuthbert's Church, in Edinburgh County, and they were married until death separated them. They had a child George Summers. She would also marry Alexander Young, and they were married until death separated them. They had children Margaret (Young) Nish, Alexander Young, John Young, and James Young. Janet Young died at age 80 years old on May 26, 1885 in Bendigo, Greater Bendigo City County, VIC Australia, and was buried at Bendigo Lawn Cemetery in Quarry Hill.
