John Scott, sheet metal foreman at the Warren McArthur plant in Bantam Connecticut, at work.
He previously worked in Bridgeport at United Aircraft's Sikorsky plant. The Scotts were one of the four honeymoon couples in the new defense homes project a few minutes' walk from the factory.
John and his wife dated for seven years before marrying. (Today, it would be more like seven months!) She was a former office worker in New Haven Connecticut but I don't know her first name.
