    The following obituary was published by The Detroit News on Jan. 31, 2008: January 26, 2008, age 20. Preceded in death by his father, Edward. Survived by his loving mother, Sandy; brothers Alex and Ryan; grandparents, Cecil and Sheila Hicklin and Barbara Blankenship. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends. Services were held on January 29, 2008. Services were entrusted to McCabe Funeral Home.
