She married Robert Ben Howard, and they were married until Linda's death on January 15, 2021 in Clifton, Bosque County. Linda Howard was buried on January 19, 2021 at Waco Memorial Park in Robinson, McLennan County.

I love and miss my sister......
Linda Sue Duke Howard passed away on 15 January 2021. I'm sad as it doesn't seem right to state there are 4 of us when there use to be 9 of us kids. I'm happy that she isn't ill but I'm also jealous that she gets to see everybody we love and all the beautiful places! I'm proud she is my sister and love her very much...Lesa Duke
