Louis Vevea 1829 - 1906

Louis Vevea was born on July 18, 1829 to Étienne Vivier and Marie Françoise Sorel. He married Elisabeth Trombley on October 28, 1851, and they were married until Elisabeth's death on December 31, 1885. He had children Louis Vevea, Eliza Vevea, and George Washington Vevea. Louis Vevea died at age 76 years old on February 4, 1906.

    When Louis Vivier (Vevea) was born on July 18, 1829, in La Prairie, Quebec, Canada, his father, Étienne, was 45 and his mother, Marie, was 42. He married Elisabeth Tremblay (Trombley) and they had nine children together. After Elisabeth died, he then married Harriet "Hattie" Ladouceur on July 19, 1886, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He died on February 4, 1906, in Anoka, Minnesota, having lived a long life of 76 years.

    From "The Minneapolis Journal" published 7 Feb 1906: Louis Vevea died at his home in this city of heart failure at the age of 76 years. He leaves eight children - George W., Frank and Mrs. Eliza Geaudreau [sic], Minneapolis; Henry of Cedar, Minn.; Will of Sand Point, Idaho; Mrs. Annie Turgeon, Tomahawk, Wis.;Samuel and Charles Vevea, Anoka. also: He married Elisabeth Tremblay (Trombley) in Clinton, New York, on October 28, 1851, when he was 22 years old. She died December 31, 1885 at the age of 51, they had been married 34 years. Louis then married Harriet "Hattie" Ladouceur in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on July 19, 1886, when he was 57 years old.
