Lowell Eugene Gehrke 1927 - 2015

Lowell Eugene Gehrke of Topeka, Shawnee Co County, KS was born on August 9, 1927 in Ramona, Marion Co County to Carl John August Gehrke and Sophia Frederika (Bruckner) Gehrke. Lowell Gehrke had siblings Arthur Gustav Gehrke, Paul Edward Gehrke, Oscar Lewis Gehrke, Harvey Herman Gehrke, Edwin Bernard Gehrke, Lowell E Gehrke, Leland Carl Gehrke, and Juanita Sophia (Gehrke) Tousignant. He married Kay Marline (Abbott) Gehrke on September 19, 1948 in KS and they later divorced in 1955. They had children Sheryl Audrey (Gehrke) Eye, Kenneth Eugene Gehrke, Steven John Gehrke, and David Mark Gehrke. He would also marry Faye (Ratley) Gehrke on August 23, 1957 in UT and they later divorced in September 1958 in Utah United States. He and Jewel (Lee) Gehrke married on January 25, 1975 in NV and they later divorced in 1981 in Houston, Harris County, Texas United States. He and Marian D (Mueller) Gehrke married on July 25, 1986 in Topeka, Shawnee Co County, KS, and they were married until Marian's death on April 8, 1990. Lowell Gehrke died at age 88 years old on September 17, 2015 in Topeka, KS, and was buried on September 23, 2015 at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Herington, Dickinson Co County.
